Dinner at Restuarante dos Artistas, March 03, 2023

 This is the first time I have given a separate blog page to a dinner but Rita and I were totally blown away by the ambiance, service and food that we experienced at this Michelin rated restaurant.  If you are ever in Lagos you should give your senses the treat of experiencing dinner here.

Rita outside the entrance of Restaurante Artistas.  The place is full of local artists works including this whimsical snake.

                            The amuse-bouche (chefs appetizer) was a delightful tuna tartare

Rita's starter was Carpaccio of Premium National Beef fillet, light wasabi cream, smoked avocado salad and crunchy nori seaweed.

My starter was fresh codfish rillette with mousse of chorizo, green gazpacho coulis, olives and purple potato chips


Rita's main course was fillets of turbot with thyme crust, glazed babaganouch and coffee sauce with pine nuts
My main course was seabass fillets and grilled black tiger prawn, tomato marmalade and fried capers.
